Master of Accountancy in Taxation
Ideal candidates for the program, which is administered on a part-time basis, should hold a bachelor's or master's degree with an accounting background, or have practiced in the area of taxation. Candidates must meet the admissions requirements of Rutgers Business School: Graduate Programs — Newark and New Brunswick including a grade point average of 3.0 or better. Candidates do not need to have calculus and statistics as pre-requisites. Admission to the Rutgers-Newark School of Law is not a requirement for admission to the program.

- Application fee (non-refundable) of $73.00
Checks and money orders should be made payable to Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. Do not send cash. (The fee for unemployed NJ residents is $36.00.) - Official Transcripts
Applicants must submit an official transcript for each undergraduate and graduate institution attended. - GMAT Test Results
Test results are NOT required. - Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic)
You must submit the TOEFL or PTE Academic test if your native language is not English. Not required of students who have done 3 or more years of their undergraduate work or have obtained a graduate degree in the U.S.- TOEFL code: Institution Code 2512, Department Code 02
- PTE Academic is a computer-based academic English language proficiency test designed to measure reading, writing, listening and speaking skills, as they are used in an academic setting. Rutgers Business School requires a minimum score of 68 on PTE Academic.

You must submit an essay either (a) describing an ethical dilemma you have faced and how you resolved it; (b) explaining what you have learned from your experience as a member of a team whose project was not completed successfully; or (c) identifying three accomplishments in your professional career and explain how they demonstrate your potential to become a successful manager. - International Applicants
