How can Veterans leverage their strengths and military experience in a civilian workplace?

In this video we discuss how our “Veteran” faculty and Military Board of Advisors have helped shaped our curriculum to meet the needs of transitioning service members based upon their own personal experiences and post military career paths.

Recently our Rutgers Business School Executive Education team spoke with Dr. Kevin Lyons.  Dr. Lyons is an Associate Professor of Professional Practice at Rutgers Business School and conducts exciting research on developing and integrating global environmental, social, economic, ethical criteria, and data into supply chain procurement systems and processes.  Lyons also serves as director of the Rutgers Business School Public Private Community Partnership and leads a session in our Mini-MBA: Business Management for Military and Veterans program. Our military has its own culture, language, and expected way of conducting one’s self both at work and at home.  Consequently, there is a transition that occurs when veterans and their families leave the military and re-enter civilian life. In this video we discuss how our “Veteran” faculty and Military Board of Advisors have helped shaped our curriculum to meet the needs of transitioning service members based upon their own personal experiences and post military career paths.
