A Message from the Center's Director:
An effective supply chain is the new organizational and operational model for the information age. Supply chain management is a business process that enables a virtual integration of business partners to achieve new levels of efficiency and productivity, as well as extraordinary returns to investors.
The Center for Supply Chain Management at Rutgers Business School, in conjunction with the Department of Supply Chain Management and Marketing Sciences, takes a cross-functional approach, giving students the tools they need to manage all aspects of a business process, from procurement, strategic partnering and alliances, manufacturing/service development, information flow management, cash-to-cash cycle time management, logistics and distribution, to customer relationship management. Our curriculum is highly competitive and regularly benchmarked against top business schools in the nation.
The Center for Supply Chain Management also partners extensively with industry leaders to develop practical solutions in response to problems encountered by the business community relative to the management of the end-to-end supply chain. We are proud to be associated with a corporate team of Center members, including AstraZeneca, Bayer HealthCare, Becton Dickinson (BD), Colgate-Palmolive, Deloitte Consulting LLP, Estee Lauder, Exel, Exelon, GENCO ATC, J.
