MBA Student Government Association

The Rutgers Business School MBA Student Government Association (SGA) promotes the interest of Full-Time and Part-Time MBA students attending classes on the Newark and New Brunswick campuses. The goal of this organization is to facilitate communication between the administration and students. Through various academic and non-academic activities, the SGA aids the professional and personal development of the students.

Executive Board

Ian Myre, President
Ian is a full-time dual MBA/Master of Public Policy student concentrating in finance and economics, respectively. Having earned a degree in Russian, Ian decided to pursue an MBA in order to obtain the necessary skills to transition into a new career in compliance, especially on an international level. As SGA President, his goal is to make sure that all Rutgers Business School students have equal opportunities to be heard and succeed, whether full-time or part-time, international or American. He is always open to suggestions and would be more than happy to talk to anyone about any questions/concerns that they may have.
Anupriti Warade, Vice-President (Full Time)
As a Vice President of SGA, Anupriti represents all the full-time MBA students and enhances their RU MBA experience. During her undergrad at the University of Mumbai, she represented her class of more than 140 students for 2 years. Then, while working full-time, she represented women at her company. Additionally, she has led several campaigns for NGOs in Mumbai for the past 3 years. Here at Rutgers, she is utilizing her leadership skills to represent the opinions and ideas of students and faculty. Anupriti is currently pursuing an MBA and concentrating in Supply Chain Management. In addition to her SGA role, she is also Vice President of the Management Consulting Club and Net Impact Club.
Tina Pappas, Vice President (Part-Time - New Brunswick)
Tina is a two-time Rutgers alumnus, now working on her MBA. She has over 11 years of experience in an IT leadership role at the University. Tina brings over 8 years of event planning, strategic communications and community building experience to the SGA leadership team. In recent years, she has worked to bolster the professional IT community across regional campuses and is now excited to work toward the same for the MBA community across Newark and New Brunswick. Among other things, some of Tina's favorite activities include yoga, Pilates, and shoe shopping!
Camaro Denis, Vice President (Part-Time - Newark)
Camaro Denis graduated from University at Albany in Albany, NY with a major in Sociology and Management Information Systems. He then obtained a Masters Degree in Biomedical Informatics from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. During his time at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, he has had several roles and responsibilities including Laboratory Information Systems Analyst and Procurement Pharmacy Team Lead. As an MBA candidate of 2018, he is pursuing a career in brand management. Camaro will complete a dual concentration in Marketing and Pharmaceutical Management.
Guarav Jay Gandotra, Treasurer
Guarav Jay Gandotra currently has a Pharm.D. degree from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida Atlantic University. Besides still currently working at CVS pharmacy as a retail pharmacist, he has 2 years of experience as the treasurer of the Pre Pharma-Club during undergrad. He is currently pursuing an MBA in Market Research Insights and Analytics at RBS. As the Treasurer of SGA, Jay will make sure that all student organizations will receive the properly allocated funds and that they are utilized appropriately so that SGA and RBS organizations can enrich every student's MBA experience.
Lisa Gemborys, Secretary
Lisa Gemborys graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a double major in Marketing and International & Area Studies. She then worked at Toys “R” Us, Inc. in roles of increasing responsibility in Brand Management and Product Development for four years. Lisa is currently pursuing her MBA with concentrations in Human Resources Management and Marketing. In addition to her role as SGA Secretary, Lisa is actively involved in the Rutgers community as VP Leadership Development of Rutgers Women in Business and Secretary of Rutgers Association of Marketing & Strategy.
Wayne Chen, Student Senator
Wayne Chen has a PharmD from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. He spent seven years working as a pharmacist and launched a startup in custom cosmetics in 2014. He has a passion for healthcare and specialty knowledge in oncology and R&D. He is also the Co-President of the Pharmaceutical Management Club, and a Rutgers Pharma Industry Scholar. He is actively involved in the RBS community and is dedicated to all RBS MBA students past, present, and future to enhance their MBA experience.
Chirag Paghdal, Social Chair
Chirag Paghdal graduated and received his Doctorate of Pharmacy at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy in 2010.  He has five years of pharmaceutical experience in a variety of roles including hospital pharmacy, retail pharmacy, and pharmacy benefits management.  Chirag is currently pursuing this MBA with a concentration in Marketing and Pharmaceutical Management.  In addition to his role as the SGA Social Chair, Chirag is also actively involved at Rutgers Business School as the VP of the Pharmaceutical Management Club and mentoring undergraduates in the Lerner Center.
Sairam D. Inguva, Technology Chair
Sairam is a technology enthusiast. He has broad experience in technology through his IT consulting experience at Accenture for Fortune 100 clients. While working for his Masters in Software Engineering, he has helped IT departments of Vellore Institute of Technology, India and University of Malaya, Malaysia in critical projects. Currently, he is pursuing his MBA with dual concentrations in Analytics & Information Management and Supply Chain Management. As SGA’s Technology Chair, Sairam strategically leverages technology to improve SGA functions and enhance the student experience at Rutgers Business School.
