Minors

(For students not enrolled in an RBS major)

Students who are not enrolled in a Rutgers Business School Undergraduate Program in Newark major can minor in several topics. These students must meet the following criteria:

  1. a 2.5 grade-point average
  2. completed 56 degree credits
  3. prerequisites for courses they take
  4. completed College Algebra and English Composition I and II

 

Accounting

Accounting involves the examination, organization, management and design of accurate recording and reporting procedures of financial and business transactions.

 

Business Administration

The minor benefits any major by giving students skills and knowledge to compete globally while broadening their appreciation for how the world works.

 

Business of Fashion

Students completing this minor develop an understanding of business concepts associated with the fashion industry.

 

Entrepreneurship

A minor in entrepreneurship augments all disciplines and expands career options and professional development.

 

Marketing

The Marketing minor provides an opportunity for non-business majors at Newark to obtain a broad perspective of the Marketing field and explore specialty areas such as advertising, brand management, international marketing and new product planning.

 

Real Estate
