RBS’s Student Advisory Board will spend the day mentoring middle and high school students interested in college and potentially Rutgers University and RBS. The goal of Talent Search is to identify and assist individuals from underserved backgrounds within target areas, who have the potential to succeed in higher education. Academic Diversity Conference

RBS’s Diversity Council Student Advisory Board will be heading to the 14th Annual Diversity Issues in Higher Education Conference at Kean University to participate in a response panel for the workshop, “Erasing Race: Are We Living in a Post-Racial Society?”.

There will be a keynote address by Shirley J. Wilcher, J.D., CAAP, Executive Director the American Association for Access, Equity and Diversity and the Fund for Leadership, Equity, Access and Diversity.

RBS Diversity Programs Council Advisory Board Meeting

RBS’s Diversity Council members utilize their experience and expertise to develop and support methods of advancing the presence of diversity and inclusion of underrepresented minority groups at Rutgers Business School. The council is comprised of dynamic Student, Faculty, and Corporate Leaders.

This meeting is a preliminary meeting before the start of the spring 2015 semester at Rutgers Business School. The Students, Faculty, and Corporate Leaders will meet to discuss and formulate new ideas that will help further the mission of RBS’s Diversity Programs Council. Diversity Speaker Series Launch Event

Guest speaker, Erika Madrid is a Rutgers MBA alumna and is now a Project Manager in the MBA Leadership Development Program at Vanguard. She will speak to RBS students, faculty and staff about her successful career and her experience at Rutgers Business School as an unrepresented minority student.  Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Madrid! RBS-PREP 2014 College Application Workshop

Open to all High School Seniors and PREP 2014 participants.  Rutgers Business School’s Office of Diversity Programs will be hosting a College Application Workshop where college admissions experts will assist in the college application process. Participating students will receive an application fee waiver as well as expert advice in applying to college. Space is limited so please RSVP here.
