Dr. Christophe Arbet-Engels (EMBA 2011) is Vice-President, Metabolism - Clinical Development and Medical Affairs at Boehringer Ingelheim (BI).
I chose the EMBA program because I felt that I needed to have a better understanding of how to run a business in this economic environment. This knowledge was critical in providing me the full strategic insight necessary for my responsibilities.
Professor Farrokh Langdana and his team of talented professors allowed me through some fun, in depth classes and international travel experience, to develop my understanding and knowledge of the context global businesses we are working in. The "Working Mother" from the Great Depression, so often mentioned by Professor Langdana in his fantastic classes, has become a constant reminder that economic decisions at all levels have an impact on the lives of so many.
In my career, the EMBA experience allowed me to be considered a strategic decision maker for the company I work for and also helped me achieve high level international and managerial positions.
