As my career advances, I increasingly find myself in positions in which strategic analysis of the business is critical.  I wanted to gain a better understanding of managing this aspect of a dynamic organization, which led me to the Rutgers EMBA program.

The curriculum is broad and diverse in that it covers many relevant business topics.  I particularly found the finance coursework very meaningful, partly due to the fact that I work in financial services and this was clearly an area that I endeavored to develop a greater understanding.

The program’s culture is one of learning.  There is an incredible amount of emphasis placed on being in the classroom and absorbing the experience of the instructor as well as the other members of the class.

Many ideas are continuously exchanged between students and faculty.  For me, learning in this real life and practical manner has been a great benefit.  In addition, the finance, leadership and organizational behavior classes have been very helpful as I increasingly take on roles of business management and in particular organizational leadership.

I have recommended this program to friends and colleagues.  It provides not only the necessary technical business school coursework, but also a great opportunity to interact with others in similar professional situations across a wide variety of industries.
