I chose the Executive MBA program to build solid foundational skills in Business, Management and Finance and to better position myself for business leadership and entrepreneur roles. The EMBA program provided me with an effective balance between a demanding work schedule and a quality education at a relative value in the Tri State area. The program also provided me with the necessary business skills and confidence to compete with a pool of the best and brightest talent in the world. It opened doors to multiple opportunities and access to a global network of business executives.
Learning the fundamental macroeconomic skills during the first semester, as the biggest financial system meltdown unfolded in 2008 while working for the biggest financial services firm, was an unforgettable experience. It provided a real life example of the implications of unintended consequences of a poorly executed macro policy.
I transitioned from a specialist role to a management role in the biggest financial services firm immediately after graduation. While it’s a good start, I believe the best days are still ahead!
