EMBA Faculty: Farok Contractor
Professor Farok Contractor, the Rutgers Distinguished Professor, teaches International Business, a course designed to introduce managers to the major international environmental influences on their future decisions, and to basic analytical tools such as foreign expansion alternatives, hedging of foreign exchange risk, and analysis of international alliances.
Dr. Contractor has also taught at the Wharton School, Copenhagen Business School, Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, Nanyang Technological University, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, XLRI (India), Lubin School of Business, Theseus, EDHEC and conducted executive seminars in the U.S., Europe, Latin America and Asia. He is a noted researcher in the field, an elected Fellow of the Academy of International Business whose over 100 articles and 9 books have been cited more than 7000 times by other authors around the world. Dr. Contractor’s research focuses on Foreign Direct Investment, negotiating international strategic alliances and joint ventures, outsourcing and offshoring and valuation of intellectual assets.
