Mark Burgess

Mark is co-founder and president of Blue Focus Marketing, a social branding consultancy that was awarded the 2012 MarketingSherpa Reader’s Choice Award for Best Social Media Marketing blog. Mark is also the co-author of the best seller The Social Employee: How Great Companies Make Social Media Work.

Mark participated as a 2014 TED Talk speaker at TEDxNavesink, and he was listed in Forbes.com's “Must-Follow Marketing Minds for 2014". In November of 2014, Mark was ranked #19 on Onalytica's list of Top 200 Content Marketing Influencers worldwide. 

Mark’s career spans marketing, advertising, professional services consulting, and education. Mark has held senior-level marketing roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers, AT&T, and McCann. Mark is also an adjunct at leading universities in New Jersey.   

Additionally, Mark is on the expert training faculty for the American Marketing Association's Integrated Marketing Communications and Content Marketing workshops.
