Define business problems and articulate goals associated with solving them. We will identify and gather the data sets leveraged to gain insight into business problems, conducting exploratory data analysis to identify and verify potential solutions.

  • Collecting, Cleaning, and Exploring Data and Analysis

Hungry Datapiller: Insightful Visualization from Messy Data

According to McKinsey, organizations are hungry to use data to grow and improve performance.  So, building on the identification of business problems, we will use statistical concepts to perform hypothesis testing to expose insights from data. Visual stories will emerge from the data to convey possible solutions to supervisors using modern visualization techniques.

  • Visualizing and Communicating Data 

Taming the Data Hog

Learn how to gather relevant data inputs for models from a wide variety of sources. We will implement solutions through model creation, model testing, and operationalization, while continuously updating models to stay current with changes to sources of model input.

  • Operationalizing and Maintaining the Data Life Cycle


Respecting Privacy & Regulations

Gain a thorough understanding of privacy and ethics around data usage. Important topics like access controls, data storage laws, and anonymizing data will be covered. We will discuss ways to stay current with trends, advances, and regulations in the ever-evolving world of data.
