Bio: 

Professor Avi-Itzhak is a RUTCOR Fellow, Rutgers Center for Operations Research. He is a consultant or scientific advisor to numerous industrial and public service organizations including the Israel Ministry of Development, Coor Industries and Bellcore. The author of a number of books and many technical papers, Professor Avi-Itzhak is a frequent contributor to a variety of professional journals including Management Science, The Journal of Applied Probability, and Telecommunications Systems.
