Sean Handley

Dr. Handley's research interests are in the areas of strategic sourcing, global supply management, and buyer/supplier relationships. His current research program is focused on how organizations effectively manage strategic outsourcing initiatives. His dissertation work looked at the salient elements of the outsourcing process and their impact on the performance of outsourcing initiatives. He is currently working on an in-depth research project to study how organizations manage quality with outsourced manufacturing in the food, drug, medical device, and regulated cosmetic industries. Dr. Handley's research has been published or is forthcoming at the Journal of Business Logistics and Journalof Operations Management.
