Ramon Henson
Dr. Henson is an organization and management consultant with over 25 years of global experience working in senior positions with various Fortune 500 companies, including Merck, Avon Products, Merrill Lynch and Citigroup. His consulting practice focuses on helping clients with solutions to: identify and develop leaders; engage and retain employees; improve performance management and succession planning processes; redesign and restructure their organizations; select, assess and coach managers and executives; build high-performance teams; and ensure effective change management. He has consulted and worked with executives globally through short- and long-term assignments in over fifteen countries.
His research interests are in succession management, especially on the identification and development of high potential leaders (where he has recently published an article in the journal Industrial and Organizational Psychology: Perspectives on Science and Practice), and in factors impacting the effectiveness of matrix organizations. Dr. Henson has a Ph.D. in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from the University of Michigan, and is a licensed psychologist. He is an active member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and is a former member of the editorial board of the journal Group and Organization Studies. He currently heads Henson Consulting International, is a Consulting Partner with Organisation Solutions, and is a member of the consulting team of the Center for Organizational Design .
