Ellen Oppenheim, Founder, Oppenheim Media Consulting, brings a valuable 360° perspective to teaching media strategy.
Ellen has held senior positions in buying, planning, selling, and promoting media, most recently as EVP, Chief Marketing Officer at MPA, the trade association for consumer magazines, as well as SVP, Media Director, at the ad agency FCB NY. Her background includes working on branding and direct marketing campaigns in a broad range of traditional and digital media.
Ellen’s roles beyond media allow her to understand the importance of integrated marketing. As a client, she has managed creative campaigns, PR campaigns, and agency relationships.
At Oppenheim Media Consulting, Ellen helps companies in various fields increase revenue in the evolving marketing/media landscape.
Ellen established and has taught the Strategic Media course in the postgraduate-level Branding and Integrated Communications program at City College (CCNY), part of the City University of New York (CUNY). In addition, she has led training programs at ad agencies, participated in multiple advertising and media industry conferences, and judged industry media competitions.
