Michael Cohen is an instructor in the Department of Accounting at Rutgers Business School. A Partner and CPA, Michael has spent his 44-year career with CohnReznick, LLP (formerly J.H. Cohn LLP). In his current role, he oversees the efforts of the Roseland, NJ office Audit and Tax Practice. Michael has served as a business advisor and consultant to many clients in diverse industries, such as distribution, manufacturing, and financial services. Over the years, Michael has cultivated a Firm culture that recognizes the importance of community service and serves as the Chairman of the CohnReznick Foundation. Michael is also an active speaker and contributor to various accounting forums and publication including Practical Accountant; the Journal of Accountancy; COMMERCE magazine; Accountingweb.com; and the Management of an Accounting Practice Handbook, published by the AICPA.
