Poets and Quants wrote that, “an undergraduate degree remains one of the most important contributors to financial stability and achieving a higher socio-economic level” despite the student loan debt that 45 million Americans currently manage.
The significant investment of an education becomes a savvy investment in the long run. To evaluate this return-on-investment, Poets and Quants compared the cost of attending a school for four years, against five times the average starting salary (representing five years of work) after graduation.
RBS-New Brunswick was placed #13 nationally, #4 in the Big Ten, and #1 in the Northeast. The RBS-NB graduates on average earned $301,140 over five years according to the survey. The RBS-Newark undergraduates on average earned $271,055 and ranked #28 in the nation according to the 2019 Poets and Quants report.
