George Farris wins International Association for the Management of Technology (IAMOT) Award

Dr. George Farris, Professor, Department of Management & Global Business and Director of the Technology Management Research Center has been identified as one of the top 50 ranking researchers in the Technology Innovation Management field. The International Association for the Management of Technology will formally recognize Farris in an awards ceremony at the IAMOT spring conference in Florida, April 2009.The Technology Innovation Management Research Award is based on the number of articles published by an author over the last five years in the top 10 academic TIM journals. This list includes such journals as: Journal of Engineering and Technology Management, Research Policy, Research Technology Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, and Technovation.The winners of this quantitatively based award are among the top 50 researchers in a field that includes thousands of authors who have published during the last five years.
