Rutgers Business School Listed Among Best Twitter Feeds for Savvy Business Students

Rutgers Business School is listed among the top nine business schools on a list of 100 best Twitter feeds for business savvy students ranked by DegreeUs. Other schools on the list include Colombia, London Business School, and Goizueta Business School at Emory University. The list of 100 also includes Twitter accounts covering other topics such as entrepreneurship, leadership, global business news, and more.

Members of the RBS community following RutgersBschool receive news, event listings, faculty blog posts, b-school tips, announcements and important university and regional updates as they happen by following @ RutgersBschool. Followers get updates in real-time allowing for connections made to students and the university community in more ways than ever.

Most recently, a trending topic among RBS followers on Twitter has been the news about The Center for Urban Entrepreneurship & Economic Development at Rutgers Business School (CUEED). CUEED is the first center of its kind in the nation to integrate venture capital and city resources with university research to study and promote economic development and entrepreneurship. Many RutgersBschool followers have been “Re-tweeting” (spreading) news related to the unique center.

RBS launched the RBS Twitter account in May in an effort to embrace new media initiatives to spread the word about its great programs, accomplishments, events, and news items. RBS was one of the first business schools in the New York metropolitan area on Twitter, and currently has 294 followers. Other entities of Rutgers are now “tweeting,” including Rutgers-Newark’s Office of Communications (Rutgers_Newark) and RU Athletics (RUAthletics).
