KPMG Distinguished Professor of Accounting Information Systems

Created in 1989 by Partners and the Foundation at Peat Marwick (now KPMG), the KMPG Professorship was designed to support the research of a distinguished faculty member of the Accounting Information Systems Department. For over two decades, the fund has done just that, allowing the holder of the KMPG Professorship, Miklos Vasarhelyi, to build on their research and add tremendously to the field of Accounting.
