Please join us on October 23rd for our next installment in the highly anticipated Rutgers Business School CEO Lecture Series featuring Anne Whitaker, Member of the Global Leadership Team, North America, Pharmaceuticals, Sanofi-Aventis.

Dean Glenn Shafer and the Rutgers Business School Board of Advisers welcomes all students, faculty, staff, alumni and board members to attend.

For this lecture, Anne will explore the concept of change in an industry that is constantly transforming and developing. In recent years, the pharmaceutical industry has undergone a significant amount of change and Anne will delve into how an effective executive can manage an organization in the face of such challenges that affect every aspect of the business.

Anne began her career at Delta Communications and joined the Upjohn Company in 1991 as a metabolic disease specialist. She joined GlaxoSmithKline in 1992 as a sales representative and held various leadership positions in the Commercial Organization. In 2001, she became Vice President of Critical and Supportive Care, a Business Division based in Pennsylvania, before being appointed Senior Vice President of Leadership and Organization Development, based in London, England, from 2008 to 2009. Since 2009 Anne Whitaker was Senior Vice President and Business Unit Head, Cardiovascular, Metabolic and Urology at GlaxoSmithKline. She was appointed to her present position with Sanofi-Aventis in September 2011.
