Employees on temporary work visas: New Jersey residency regulations do not recognize temporary work visas (H1) as evidence of residency; thus you will be paying out of state tuition. However, you can apply for a reduced tuition rate.
Note: Typically, a full-time student takes 5 courses (15 credits) per semester for the first two semesters, and 1 course (3 credits) for the third semester. Thus, the student will pay by semester (full-time rate) for the first two semesters, and pay by credit (part-time rate) for the third semester.
