Center for Research in Regulated Industries (CRRI) Endowed Chair in Regulatory Economics

Rutgers Business School is seeking applicant for the CRRI Chair in the Department of Finance and Economics in the Rutgers Business School – Newark and New Brunswick. The successful applicant must have an outstanding publication record in economics, law or finance journals and must regularly write on topics in which optimal regulatory policy is of central importance. The successful applicant will be expected to play an active role in faculty governance not only in Rutgers Business School but especially in the Center for Research in Regulated Industries. The Finance and Economics Department has 40 full-time faculty members.  The Rutgers Business School offers BS, MBA, Masters of Quantitative Finance, and Ph.D. programs that include finance and applied economics concentrations.

The Department of Marketing

Instructor/ Assistant Professor of Professional Practice

The Department of Marketing at Rutgers Business School—Newark and New Brunswick invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track position starting in January 2017. Faculty rank would be either Instructor or Assistant Professor of Professional Practice, depending on qualifications. The selected candidate must be able to meet and maintain AACSB standards for academic or professional qualifications. Additionally, there should be a proven track record of excellent teaching capabilities, strong recommendations, and the ability to take on service and leadership responsibilities. Teaching would be at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, particularly in the area of business communication (though not limited to this area). Service activities would relate to students (e.g., supervising independent studies and student clubs) as well as general administration (e.g., participation in university committees). A Master’s degree is required in Marketing, Business Communication, or related areas (a doctoral degree is preferred, but not required); and significant academic/managerial experience is desirable. Applications from underrepresented minority candidates are particularly encouraged.
