Rutgers Business School Innovation Committee

The Office of Career Management is proud to announce the Rutgers Business School Innovation Committee!

RBSIC is a dynamic organization that plays the role of a liaison between RBS Students and the Office of Career Management.

As a student at Rutgers Business School New Brunswick, we offer you the opportunity to go above and beyond with your career, especially if you are involved with RBSIC. As more and more employers are interested in recruiting Rutgers Business students, RBSIC members have more access to direct interactions with these interested employers!

With the RBSIC, members create one-on-one relationships with employers, network with students, faculty and industry professionals, and improve their ability to stand out amongst their peers by working closely in creating a positive campus recruiting atmosphere.

Our members are put at the forefront of the business school and engage directly with employers through these events. Due to this commitment and engagement, many of our members go on to make great networking connections as well as land internships from the extra one-on-one time with recruiters!

What else do RBSIC Members do?
In addition to Business School career events, RBSIC members volunteer internally for the Office of Career Management. A wide range of positions are available such as, conducting building tours for visiting employers, student outreach and marketing, alumni based interactions, and specialized work within the department. The possibilities are endless!

RBSIC members must:

  • Participate in both of the RBS career fairs (fall and spring)
  • Attend a minimum of two meetings per semester
  • Actively participate in events held throughout the year
  • Have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.00

Special consideration will be given to Sophomores!
