Black and Hispanic MBA Association

Our mission is to promote and encourage professional networking and social interaction among Black & Hispanic MBA students, Rutgers Business School, and the corporate sector.

Our goals include the following:

  • Increase the number of underrepresented minorities in the MBA program as well as in the corporate world by fostering mentoring relationships with alumni to MBA’s
  • Promote and coordinate with local chapters, like NSHMBA & NBMBA, for networking events
  • Host speaker events for students to learn about topics like networking and career progression

Pilar Grullón
Pilar Grullón

Pilar Grullón is an MBA candidate specializing in Pharmaceutical Management and Supply Chain Management. Before Rutgers Business School, Pilar worked in New York City government in the executive offices of the Mayor and Comptroller for nearly six years. As president, Pilar strives to help increase the number of Black and Latino MBA students by creating awareness among younger students and partnering with student organizations with similar goals.

Inemesit Udongwo
Inemesit Udongwo

Inemesit Udongwo is a full-time MBA Candidate specializing in Finance Strategy & Leadership. She has three years of experience as a corporate and commercial lawyer. She is dedicated to further developing her skills in new professional domains, which is evident in her active pursuit of an MBA degree. As the Vice President of the Black and Hispanic MBA Association, she is focused on initiating and supporting activities that encourage growth and create a nurturing environment for underrepresented minority MBA students.

Treasurer

Ricardo Tamasato
Ricardo Tamasato

Born and raised in Lima, Peru, with Japanese heritage. Lover of good food, I grew up between Sushi and Ceviche. As the treasurer of the Black and Hispanic Association, I’m committed to inspiring fellow Hispanics to pursue master’s degrees. Meanwhile, I’m attending a Part-Time MBA. I work as a Field Engineer in the Queens area, ensuring the seamless operation of the wireless infrastructure.
