Office of Diversity Programs

I’m honored to take this opportunity to introduce you to Rutgers Business School’s Office of Diversity Programs and a host of multicultural programs and services available to RBS students and the surrounding community via our RBS – P.L.U.S (Pathways Leading to Undergraduate Success) program package.

The collegiate educational experience should be more than just attending classes. The faculty and student population at RBS are a microcosm of the multicultural society in which we live. Promoting diversity and multicultural awareness in business is a significant objective of this office. Beyond that, we aim to work hand-in-hand with the undergraduate office to increase the recruitment, retention and matriculation of our underrepresented minority population. It is my hope that the RBS - PLUS program package and additional services will enrich the academic, personal, and professional development of our student body, as well as the areas surrounding our Newark and New Brunswick communities.

The formation of the Office of Diversity Programs and my role as Assistant Dean for Diversity Programs is reflective of RBS’s commitment to maintaining a diverse campus population and environment. Though I wear an assortment of different hats in this capacity, individual student advising, mentoring, and programmatic activities provide a challenging, but enjoyable, daily agenda for me.

Should you need further information regarding any of the programs or initiatives included in our RBS - P.L.U.S program package provided by the Office of Diversity Programs, please do not hesitate to contact us at (973) 353-1188 or via email at

Thank you and Welcome to RBS!
