Bio: 

Payal Sharma is Assistant Professor of Management and Global Business at Rutgers Business School - Newark and New Brunswick, at Rutgers University. Her research interests are in leadership and teams and her work has appeared in the Journal of Applied Psychology. She has received multiple research and teaching awards including the 2011 SIOP Lee Hakel Graduate Student Dissertation Scholarship. Her professional experience includes working for the U.S. Government Printing Office, a federal agency, in strategic human resources and at Harvard Business School in external relations.

Awards: 2011 Lee Hakel Graduate Student Dissertation Scholarship, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology; 2010 Academy of Management Outstanding Reviewer Award, 2008-2010 Smith School of Business Top 15% Teaching Award
