Professor Leuschner is the curriculum coordinator for the MBA supply chain management concentration. His primary research focuses on customer service, especially the integration of marketing and logistics aspects and their impact on customer satisfaction and business outcomes. A second research interest is in generalizable research in supply chain management. Generalizable evidence is obtained through replication research, where the same study is repeated under different circumstances. A specific technique is meta-analysis, which is summary and aggregation of results of existing studies to offer generalizable evidence of overall population effects. A third research interest is in sustainability in the supply chain. He received his Ph.D. in Logistics and a minor in Marketing from The Ohio State University. His work has appeared among others in the Journal of Business Logistics and the Journal of Supply Chain Management. His teaching interests include Business Forecasting for Value Chains, Demand Planning and Fulfillment, Supply Chain Strategies, and Business Logistics and Transportation.
