Applications, Forms and Instructions
All application instructions are included with the application form. There are two ways to apply – online or using a paper application. If you apply online, there are still supporting documents that need to be mailed in for your application to be complete.
We are not accepting applications at this time for the PhD in Management program. Applications for Spring 2016 admissions will open on July 1st, applications for Fall admissions will open August 1st. Only self-funded students will be considered for Spring admissions. Students seeking financial assistance must apply for Fall admissions.

In addition to the application form the following items are needed for applicants:
- Application fee (non-refundable) of $65.00
Checks and money orders should be made payable to Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. Do not send cash. This can also be paid online via a credit card.
- Official Transcripts
Applicants must mail in an official transcript for each undergraduate and graduate institution attended. Original hard-copies of the transcipt or an evaluation report from a NACES agency has to be mailed to our office.
- GMAT or GRE Test Result.
Official GMAT or GRE test results, taken within five years from the term of entrance, are required.

- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
You must submit this test if your native language is not English. Not required of students who have done 3 or more years of their undergraduate work or have obtained a graduate degree in the U.S.

- You must provide three letters of reference
Letters of reference can be submitted through the online application, mailed to our office directly by the recommender in a sealed/signed envelope, or emailed directly by the recommenders to email@example.com.
- Submit your current resume
This can be done through the online application.
- Personal Statement
You must submit a personal statement of 300-500 words detailing academic, career, and personal objectives, which will be read by professors in the appropriate field. The personal statement should explain why you wish to enroll at Rutgers, describe your qualifications, and identify special interest areas of study. The personal statement can be submitted through the online application.
- International Applicants
Additional requirements apply to international applicants. International applicants must show proof of funding this includes:
- Send a completed Affidavit of Support for each sponsor. Please download this Affidavit of Suport form and send the completed copy/copies to our address.
- Send an Official Bank Statement for each sponsor.
