Delta Sigma Pi

Local/National Mission

Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity organized to foster the study of business in universities; to encourage scholarship, social activity and the association of students for their mutual advancement by research and practice; to promote closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce; and to further a higher standard of commercial ethics and culture and the civic and commercial welfare of the community.

We only accept business related majors into our Fraternity. This means all Rutgers Business school students, economics majors, and human resources majors.  Business related minors do not qualify. All of our resources are devoted to business and economics majors because we want each of members to have access to the highest quality of resources possible.

The International Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi is one of the largest professional fraternities in addition to being one of the largest co-ed professional business fraternities in the world.  It was founded on November 7, 1907 at the School of Commerce, Accounts and Finance, New York University, New York, New York and is currently headquartered in Oxford, Ohio. The Fraternity has over 250 active chapters with over 235,000 initiated members worldwide.

A professional fraternity such as Delta Sigma Pi offers an ideal balance of professionalism and social interaction. We are able to help you enhance your career goals through our comprehensive series of professional events which will help illuminate your career path. A couple of noteworthy events we have held include illustrious speakers from PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Brookfield Asset Management and many other companies. These events along with our alumni networking events help you develop a professional network that extends far beyond your college years. Although a business fraternity is a great way to develop professional skills, ultimately the strength of the fraternity lies in the individual brothers and the unique lifelong friendships they develop.

On Campus

Brothers of Delta Sigma Pi are heavily involved in campus activities through participation in student organizations, student government, and employment activities. Although Delta Sigma Pi is proud of the accomplishments of its members, it also recognizes the values of mutual help and humility. Delta Sigma Pi is involved both on the Rutgers University campus and the surrounding community. Delta Sigma Pi engages in both community service and professional activities that benefit the entire campus community. Even though Deltasigs are highly motivated individuals, you'll find that brothers are quite down-to-earth and approachable.
