In addition to clinical expertise, healthcare professionals need to understand rapidly evolving regulatory requirements along with standards of quality and accountability. Understanding the fundamentals of accounting, business and law as they apply to the field is also critical in today’s complex healthcare environment.

There are various business models for staying independent or joining larger practice groups or hospitals are available. Understanding the possibilities and benefits associated with those decisions is also critical for success. Guaranteeing a positive patient experience and smooth back-end operations also requires a new mindset.

This program offers a holistic view of today’s current healthcare environment, starting with an overview of the rapidly changing US healthcare system and then covering all of the areas mentioned above.

Healthcare providers and managers will benefit from this program by gaining a real-world picture of the key elements of today’s practice management, allowing them to make business and operational decisions to support excellent patient care.
