Rutgers EMBA Alumnus
Admission to the Executive MBA Program is highly competitive, and enrollment is limited. Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of ten years of full-time employment experience.
Each person is considered on the basis of an individual application, admission test scores, transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a personal interview. The criteria for selection include the applicant's potential for success at senior management levels and the ability and motivation to participate in a rigorous and intensive course of study while employed.
If you are an executive or mid-level manager who desires to broaden your perspective, add depth to your business skills, sharpen your ability to make effective management decisions, and enhance your opportunities for career advancement, acquiring an MBA from Rutgers will give you the advantage of not only knowing the rules of competition, but the ability to write them as well.
Each year, the Rutgers Executive MBA Program accepts an exclusive group of no more than 50 students. Get the ball rolling by completing our online Initial Application or by calling us at 973-353-5015. If you qualify, the EMBA Director, Prof. Farrokh Langdana, will contact you right away and invite you to a meeting on campus. Even if you need to take the GRE or GMAT* exam or are waiting for clearance from work, we recommend that you contact us and secure your seat today.
Please note that In-State tuition applies only if the applicant is a US citizen or a U. S. Permanent Resident, and is currently a resident of New Jersey for at least 9 months.
Additional information on the criteria that determine instate vs. out-of-state tuition can be found at: admissions.rutgers.edu/costs/tuitionandfees/njtuitioneligibility.aspx
Information on financial aid can be obtained at studentaid.rutgers.edu and on payment options and term bill information, at studentabc.rutgers.edu.
*Ten percent discount on the Kaplan GMAT for all those applying to Rutgers EMBA. Call the New Brunswick Kaplan Center 732/628-0111 and speak with one of the Kaplan Representatives. A proof of application to the Rutgers EMBA program is required. The invitation letter for the interview is sufficient.
NOTE: While an excellent resource for GMAT preparation, please note that Kaplan is one of several resources (CD-ROMs from Borders, etc.) for preparing for the GMAT exam.
