Executive MBA Admissions

Admission to the Executive MBA Program is highly competitive, and enrollment is limited.  Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution and about 10 years of full-time employment.

Each person is considered on the basis of an individual application, admission test scores, transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a personal interview.  The criteria for selection include the applicant's potential for success at senior management levels and the ability and motivation to participate in a rigorous and intensive course of study while employed.

If you are an executive or mid-level manager who desires to broaden your perspective, add depth to your business skills, sharpen your ability to make effective management decisions, and enhance your opportunities for career advancement, acquiring an MBA from Rutgers will give you the advantage of not only knowing the rules of competition, but the ability to write them as well.

Each year, the Rutgers Executive MBA Program accepts an exclusive group of no more than 60 students.  Get the ball rolling by completing our Initial Application or by calling us at 973-353-5015. If you qualify, you will be directed to schedule an interview with the Director of the EMBA Program, Professor Farrokh Langdana. Even if you need to take the GRE or GMAT* exam or are waiting for clearance from work, we recommend that you contact us and secure your seat today.

Please note that if you have any graduate degree or extensive/unique experience, the GMAT/GRE may be waived at the discretion of Prof. Langdana.   Please attend an Open House where the application sequence, and the criteria for GMAT/GRE waivers will be discussed in detail.  Also, do attend the EMBA classes in session and experience The Powerhouse firsthand.
