Winning Public Federal Contracts, Certification Workshop RSBDC

This all-day training course will provide growth-focused small businesses with an in-depth understanding of navigating federal contracting, procurement and strategic marketing to the right federal agencies that buy their goods and services. The course includes overview of FedBizOpps, Acquisition Central, Federal Supply Classification Codes, NAICS, Public Services codes, Knowledge of Federal Contracting Procedures and Regulations and targeting the right contracting agency personnel. This course also covers contracts awarded through SBA certification programs and how to leverage your certifications effectively. This workshop helps existing small businesses who currently do business with the federal government as well as those working in the commercial sector but want to branch into the federal procurement market, have a better understanding of growing their contracting opportunities. This is an interactive workshop. Familiarity with the Federal Systems of Awards Management (SAM) will be a plus.
