Prof. Alessandro Perri has almost 30 years of managerial and entrepreneurial experience in international business, specializing in sourcing, and trading plastics resins. His experience living in Europe for over 20 years, and negotiating and concluding business in over 20 countries in Asia, Europe and the Americas has shaped his research interests, which are focused on institutional effects on Global Value Chains, on the role of trade intermediaries and on the study of cognitive, normative and regulative barriers to communication and trust development in cross-border exchanges.
Prior to joining the faculty at Rutgers Business School, he has taught international business courses at SUNY FIT, Rollins College and the University of South Carolina.
