Ronald M. Shapiro is an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in the Finance and Economics Department. Previously, he served as Executive Director of the Rutgers Business School’s Center for Real Estate.
Prior to Rutgers Business School, Ron was Senior Vice President with Union Center National Bank. He also served in executive management positions at Prudential Financial, Wells Fargo and Spencer Savings Bank.
Mr. Shapiro received his MBA degree in Finance and Accounting from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business and his undergraduate degree in Economics from SUNY at Stony Brook. He is a CPA and former Adjunct Professor at Monmouth University’s Kislak Real Estate Institute and New York University’s School of Continuing Education. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Edison Affordable Housing Corporation. He is a frequent speaker and moderator at various real estate industry conferences and is a former Board of Governor of the NJ Mortgage Bankers Association.
