Dean Lei Lei welcomed the students and an audience of friends, family members and faculty advisors to the ceremony at Rutgers Business School. Ras Baraka, the mayor of Newark, served as the ceremony speaker. The mayor was introduced by Jeffrey Robinson, newly appointed Rutgers University-Newark provost and executive vice-chancellor. The ceremony was also attended by program administrators, several deans and representatives of the RU-Newark Chancellor's Office.
