Making the innovation economy more inclusive

Rutgers Business School associate professor Jeffery Robinson, who teaches about entrepreneurship and also holds the title of academic director at The Center for Urban Entrepreneurship & Economic Development, is working on research that examines the reasons for a lack of diversity within the nation’s innovative economy. Robinson’s work identifies disparities in how federal funding is allocated to technology entrepreneurs and how resources and processes might be changed to create a more inclusive and innovative economy that mirrors the diversity of the U.S.
