Scott WhiteScott White is the Chairman and CEO of Invesque. Invesque (TSX: IVQ.U) is a real estate investment company that specializes in health care and senior living property investments throughout North America. Invesque owns a diversified portfolio of post-acute transitional care, skilled nursing, memory care, assisted living, independent living, and medical office buildings. Since becoming a public company in 2016, Invesque has grown to 120 properties across twenty states and two Canadian provinces with a gross book value of approximately $1.8B. Invesque was the fastest growing public real estate company in the United States for the first three years after the IPO.

Mr. White is also a Co-Founder, Partner and Strategic Advisor of Spectra Student Living. Spectra is a fast-growing student housing developer, owner, and operator.

Mr. White was previously Executive Vice President of Investments of Mainstreet and HealthLease Properties, a publicly traded REIT focused on health care real estate. Prior to focusing his career on real estate, Mr. White spent over thirteen years on Wall Street.

Mr. White served as a Senior Vice President of Brookfield Asset Management Inc., where he was responsible for raising capital for various alternative asset vehicles across real estate, private equity, and infrastructure. His career experience also includes a tenure as Director and Head of Deal Management at Citigroup’s Alternatives Distribution Group. At Citigroup, he advised clients on alternative capital raising activities in private equity, real estate, hedge and infrastructure funds. Mr. White was responsible for executing twenty-five capital raising assignments at over $30B.

Earlier in his career, Mr. White was part of the Health Care Group at Citi’s Investment Bank, working with clients in the health care sector on M&A and capital raising assignments. He began his career in public accounting as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mr. White earned a bachelor’s degree with highest honors in political science and journalism from Rutgers University. He received his MBA from Rutgers Graduate School of Management and his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), was admitted to the bars of New York and New Jersey, and previously held securities industry FINRA licenses Series 7, 24 and 63.

Mr. White is a member of the Board of Directors of Rutgers University Foundation and a member of the Board of the NJ Chapter of Young Presidents Organization (YPO). He enjoys skiing, golf and running. Mr. White has completed an Ironman triathlon and 15 marathons to date. He is married to his high school sweetheart and has two teenage daughters.
