Newark Museum of Art to host Women's Leadership Forum
Make-up mogul Bobbi Brown will give the keynote address during the museum's first-ever event to motivate current and future leaders. A panel discussion will follow moderated by Lisa Kaplowitz, finance professor and executive director of Rutgers Business School's Center for Women in Business. Attendees will hear what's next for women in 2021 in terms of gender, racial, political and economic equality. Panelists: Adenah Bayoh, serial entrepreneur and real estate developer, NJ State Senator M. Teresa Ruiz, Anna Maria Tejada, attorney and director of the New Jersey Labor and Employment Group and regional president for Region III of the NJ for the Hispanic National Bar Association, and Dr. Chris Pernell, physician and chief strategic integration and health equity officer, University Hospital. General admission is $50 and $25 for students. Museum members pay $40.
