Temidayo Olaleye

Dr. Temidayo (Dayo) Olaleye is an Assistant Professor in the Supply Chain Management Department of Rutgers Business School, where she teaches Demand Planning and Fulfillment and Demand Management in the Executive MBA program.

Dayo's research sits at the intersection of healthcare and operations management with a  focus on patient flow, hospital capacity management, care coordination, physician decision-making, health disparities and access to care. To investigate these questions, she builds sustained, hands-on partnerships with hospitals, spending time on the floor shadowing physicians and nurses, and analyzing large-scale clinical and administrative data using rigorous econometric and causal inference methods. She has published in Management Science and has presented her research at many academic and practitioner conferences.

Dayo holds a Ph.D. from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, an M.Sc. from the University of Manchester, UK, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Lagos. Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked as an IT Consultant and Software Developer.
