Webinar: Business Resiliency and Comebacks

The Rutgers Business School Virtual Lunch & Learn Series presents John Maguire, CEO of International Voyager in conversation with Philip Patrick, adjunct professor in the Rutgers Business School MBA program. The webinar will help anyone who seeks insights on how to personally and professionally recover from setbacks.

John Maguire, CEO of International Voyager, leads a team focused on helping the cruise industry. He started his company on September 10, 2001, immediately prior to the Twin Towers terrorist strikes, and bounced back to lead a team that has won the Inc 5000 fast-growth award five times. The team has been impacted by global issues for years, most recently COVID. Mr. Maguire will share lessons learned along the way—it hasn’t always been “smooth sailing.”

Philip Patrick is a successful entrepreneur who has led his company through adversity. He is the founder of two successful startups – Four Leaf Strategies where he is the current CEO and PharmaStrat which he sold to Decision Resources Group in 2011. Patrick’s corporate experience was in the pharmaceutical industry in progressively responsible positions. He entered pharma after earning his undergraduate degree from Rutgers College and his MBA from Columbia University. Rutgers Business School Executive Education has been lucky enough to have Patrick teach in some of our custom corporate programs.
