Interview with Tendai D. Ndoro Regarding Small Businesses

Erich Toncre, director of Marketing Education interviews Tendai D. Ndoro, Ph.D., regional director, New Jersey's Small Business Development Center at Rutgers Newark, about the services provided to small businesses. Ndoro explains the problems many small businesses have and how the SBDC and Rutgers Business School faculty and students assist small business owners in addressing those problems. Ndoro has received numerous awards for her work as an economic development expert and businesswoman, including the 2014 ASBDC National State Start Award; the 2013 Top Women in Power Impacting Diversity; 2012 Garden State Woman of the Year - Global Impact Award; and the Minority Enterprise Advocate’s 50 Women of Power in Business. In 2011, she received the WEN Business Award for promoting women. In 2010, she received the U.S. Commercial Services International Trade Award for promoting international trade in Newark. Dr. Ndoro is a trained Baldrige Examiner.
