Students enriched by Deloitte's Future Accounting Leaders Summit

Twenty-seven students from Rutgers Business School-Newark were among hundreds of college students from across the country who attended Deloitte’s 2025 Future Accounting Leaders Summit.

The summit is designed to inspire early college students (first- and second- years) to pursue careers in accounting by showcasing the breadth of the profession and fostering meaningful connections. It took place Oct. 24-26 at Deloitte University, a learning and development center the company runs in Westlake, Texas.

During the summit, students network with Deloitte professionals, participate in accounting-themed session, experience leading industry topics, connect with their peers from across the country and have an opportunity to hear from distinguished speakers.

The Rutgers Business School students selected to attend the summit were Britany Arredondo, Samatha Mutillo, Arham Rehan, Mayabella Rodriguez, Bella Melendez, Rushi Rana, Ayushi Nawani, Parv Mehta, Yajur Monga, John Lawlor, Nitya Vaidya, Jacob Carmona, Justin Lema, Jonathan Tecalero-Montes, Joseph Dousuah, Shiel Shah, Christian Sullivan, Hrishi Bhatt, George Drury, Miles Hymes, Jason Towindo, Logan Gabbidon, Jolie Catherine Reyes, Andy Liu, Vihaan Agarwal, Mayank Jain, and Romesa Naeem. The students were accompanied to the summit by Rutgers Business School's part-time lecturer Frank Giarratano and Natalia Jouan, a professor of professional practice in accounting.
