Why should Military personnel and Veterans transitioning to civilian careers attend our unique Mini-MBA program?
Our military has its own culture, language, and expected way of conducting one’s self both at work and at home. Consequently, there is a transition that occurs when veterans and their families leave the military and re-enter civilian life. In this video featuring Doug Dinon, we discuss how our “Veteran” faculty and Military Board of Advisors have helped shaped our Mini-MBA curriculum to meet the needs of transitioning service members based upon their own personal experiences and post military career paths. Dinon has been with GE’s Global Research Center (GRC) for 19 years leading manufacturing technical engineering teams that focus on developing and transitioning new advanced manufacturing technologies. Prior to joining GE, Doug was with Johnson & Johnson (J&J) for 11 years in manufacturing and supply chain roles. He transitioned from active duty Army to J&J, maintaining a dual career with the US Army Reserves until recently retiring at the rank of Colonel. He shares his military experience, corporate background and personal journey with us by leading an engaging and interactive “Business Strategy” session in our Mini-MBATM: Business Management for Military and Veterans program.
