Rutgers has partnerships with colleges and universities around the world that help to facilitate study abroad opportunities for our students. There are several options for students to partake in global studies, varying from semester-long study programs to shorter week-long experiences.
RBS offers a wide range of global experience courses and study-abroad opportunities, which include the following categories:
RBS Global Experiential Learning Study Trips
Through carefully curated pre-trip seminars and intensive international itineraries, these courses are purpose-built to fit the demanding schedules of both full-time and part-time students. It is the ultimate high-impact, short-term alternative to traditional study abroad, allowing you to step inside global corporate headquarters, build an international executive network, and fulfill elective requirements in a condensed timeframe. A limited number of merit and need-based scholarships are available.
Eligibility:
- RBS MBA students and Master's students
- RBS undergraduate students in their junior or senior year with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Rutgers undergraduate students from other schools on the New Brunswick, Newark, and Camden campuses

RBS Student Exchange Programs
Currently, RBS has semester exchange programs with the following two Chinese universities and business schools: Peking University-Guanghua School of Management in Beijing, and Zhejiang University-School of Management in Hangzhou.
Eligibility
- RBS undergraduate students in their second semester of Sophomore year, Juniors, and Seniors
- Minimum GPA of 3.75 (for Peking University) or 3.2 (for Zhejiang University)
- Program is not open to Chinese citizens.

Rutgers Semester Study Abroad Programs
The Rutgers Study Abroad Office offers a plethora of semester study abroad programs in many different countries and with a focus on many different subjects, including business studies. For a full list of these programs, please see the Rutgers Study Abroad webpage.
Before deciding on any of these programs, please set up an advising session with the RBS Study Abroad academic advisor to learn more about certain restrictions that may apply to your particular major. Students are encouraged to check the Rutgers Global Study Abroad Equivalency Database to learn about the transferability of course credit for their particular major. Rutgers Summer Study Abroad Programs
The Rutgers Study Abroad Office offers several short-term summer study abroad programs focused on business studies. These programs include regular academic programs as well as internship programs. Students should make an appointment with the RBS Study Abroad advisor to ensure the best fit for their individual situation. To identify summer programs, please go to the Search Program page of the Rutgers Study Abroad website, limit your search to Summer (under “Term”) and Business (under “Field of Study”).
